Project

Office Fit Out

Duration

3 Weeks

Quadrant House is a thriving co-working facility that supports a diverse community of professionals, freelancers, and small businesses. Our brief was to enhance the flexibility and inclusivity of the space by creating a new office and dedicated desk area and upgrading existing facilities to include a fully compliant ambulant WC.

All works needed to be completed with minimal disruption to ongoing operations, an essential requirement for a busy, shared workspace.

The Brief

The project involved two key components:

  • Creation of new office accommodation, including a dedicated desk area for members.

  • Adaptation of an existing WC to form a new DDA-compliant ambulant washroom fitted with DOC M sanitary ware.

To achieve this, we undertook a thoughtful reconfiguration of the existing layout, integrating solid and Crittall-style glazed partitions to form modern, practical spaces that aligned with the building’s interior design aesthetic.

    • DDA-compliant layout

    • DOC M pack installation

    • Grab rails and accessibility support features

Outcome

The completed works have enhanced both the functionality and accessibility of Quadrant House. The new desk area provides members with a dedicated, professional environment, while the creation of an ambulant WC ensures the building meets modern accessibility standards and better serves all users.

The combination of solid and Crittall-style partitions gives the space a contemporary feel that complements the existing design language. The improvements not only elevate the user experience but also support the operator’s commitment to inclusivity and high-quality workspace provision.

The result is a flexible, welcoming, and future-ready environment, carefully delivered with minimal disruption to the vibrant working community at Quadrant House.

Working in a Live Environment

Because Quadrant House operates daily with a steady flow of members, clients, and visitors, it was essential that the works did not interfere with business activities. To accommodate this, construction activities were completed out of hours, ensuring the space remained fully operational and quiet during the day.

This collaborative approach allowed us to maintain project momentum while upholding a high standard of consideration for the occupants.
