Size

Project

CAT-A Dilapidations

Duration

5 Weeks

We were excited to be awarded this project after a competitive tender process, working with a new client and their contract administration team. The aim was to carry out end-of-lease dilapidations on an industrial unit in Tunbridge Wells and prepare the space for lease after the previous tenant moved out.

The Brief

The works involved stripping out tenant-installed fixtures and fittings, followed by internal and external repairs, including decorating throughout. New floor finishes were installed, and any issues with power, data, and lighting systems were addressed based on the faults identified in the EICR.

For the roofing, we replaced defective rooflights, applied cut-edge protection treatments, and jet-washed and overcoated the roof with a Liquasil Metal Seal system, which comes with a 25-year warranty. We also lined the existing gutters with a Liquasil Gutter Seal system to ensure the building was ready for its new occupier.
